Top row: A few more shots from the garden at St. Vincent Ferrer, 64th and Lexington. Iris are in the starring role in the front; go around the back to see the classic combination of roses and clematis on the iron gates, and David-Austin-type roses being trained on the wall.
Second row: the corner garden at Columbus and 78th Street has an increasingly sophisticated mix of container plants, annuals and even trees.
